Brand Story - Huaman Author

Our project is based on the production of unique, gender-neutral design pieces, inspired by the combination of artisanal culture, rooted in the ancestral manipulation of organic materials, and the disruptive approach of the art scene. Our clothing and packaging are developed under a circular and sustainable business model, utilizing biomaterials, certified organic textiles, and locally sourced recycled materials. We incorporate national techniques and processes with artisans from different regions of the country into our value chain, creating a qualitative difference in the style and longevity of our designs.

This capsule collection is inspired by nature's biological cycles and its essential characteristics. This involves shapes, colors, and textures that together form compositions and structures that are constantly changing throughout the seasons. We translate this physical transformation of nature into organic, fractal, and rough forms into our designs. For example, the development of woven patterns with skipped stitches, stains, asymmetrical finishes, or irregular drapes on garments. We also consider the transformations of nature caused by natural processes or human intervention, such as climate change, soil erosion, or drought. These characteristics are reflected in our fabrics in the form of motifs, grooves, and irregular lines that serve as a metaphor for this impact, a form of protest. All of these elements form part of our brand's aesthetic signature.
