Meet the team - Kinetics

Lorena Jarpa, the brand's creator and environmental designer, is a contemporary art engraver and jeweler. She designed her first pieces in 2018: the red Link necklace/bracelet, which she developed by incorporating bicycle chains as a movement mechanism. She constructed her first pieces using acrylic. From there, other designs emerged. She later began a collaborative effort with Rosa Bertero, environmental designer and technical draftsman. Both maintain a consistent design philosophy and explore other ideas, such as the Click collection, acrylic jewelry printed with photographs by the creators and drawings by artists. It was at this stage that Vanesa Sanz, an illustrator, joined the team, incorporating her drawings into the pieces and hand-painting others.

They all share their creative vision and all incorporate their stamp on each piece.

The material we use is methacrylate. We cut some designs by hand, while laser technology cuts others. We take care to use all the excess material to avoid leaving any residue.
