Meet the team - Antúnez Ketterer

I'm Valeria Salinas, designer and creative director of antunez.ketterer. I hold a degree in architecture from the Central University of Chile and a degree in costume design from the INACAP Technological University. Over the course of 15 years, I've experimented with different types of women's apparel, including evening gowns, wedding dresses, casual wear, hand-knitting, and repurposing leather. I'm passionate about tailoring, details, and handmade finishes.

I firmly believe in reinvention and the ability to start over, which is why I moved from Santiago to the Araucanía region three years ago. From the countryside, inhabiting the land where my maternal grandparents lived, connected to my roots and experiencing the cycles of nature day after day, to the rhythm of a simple and unpretentious life, I experiment and enjoy giving new life to secondhand clothes.

Antúnez.ketterer was born in honor of the memory of my grandmothers, Raquel Antúnez Fierro and Irma Ketterer Axt, women with very different origins and lives, who contributed in one way or another to building who I am.
